For those of you who have been following me for a while, thank you for sticking around while I've been MIA for the past many months. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in December 2021, and so far 2022 has been devoted to treatments, following my doctors' orders, and healing. It will always sound cliche, but it is 100% true that I have been blessed and so grateful that this disease was caught early and I have had the benefit of so many amazing medical professionals throughout the journey. It will soon be in the rearview mirror, but there may be times that I need to take breaks from shipping physical items again in the future.
The good news is that I am back and have so many fun new things planned for the near future! To start, I have already published a new cap pattern (the "Mrs. Pitcher") as a digital download in my Etsy store, and I will be opening preorders for kits and paper patterns soon.
I also have some new-to-me era projects going on the side, and hope to bring you some exciting new accessories patterns by the end of the year. (Think Downton Abbey, Jane Austen, Bridgerton...)
Just as a final thought, PLEASE take care of yourselves! Make sure you have doctors that you trust, follow up with routine screenings, and listen to your body. While "cancer" is such a scary word that none of us ever want to hear, please trust me that early detection is your best friend!
